Hear how InCommon has helped local businesses grow
We have been serving our community for seven years, and with InCommon we have seen immediate revenue growth that we have never seen before. It has taken years to build our business but the InCommon community has brought us 30% more business practically overnight. On top of all this our employees are over the moon that they can shop at local businesses with perks and benefits beyond what we could offer alone.
Our brand is relatively new, and we had been struggling to gain traction in our community competing with major players. Working with InCommon gave us a boost that we could not have anticipated. Our sales are up 50% and the word of mouth marketing that has resulted from joining this community has been invaluable. We love all of our customers, but the InCommon community has an extra special place in our hearts.
A local business of 30 years, our sales have been slowly declining for the last ten years. We didn’t know how to set ourselves apart in a world where online shopping has become so prevalent. Working with InCommon brought us to the inflection point that we have been hoping for. Our sales are trending upwards thanks to the strong community of local businesses and the access to marketing tools that we couldn’t run ourselves.
Why I started InCommon and a little about our mission
In January 2025, rampant wildfires tore through my community and changed the lives of so many people. It was horrifying to watch so many people lose everything. In the wake of the fires, I saw my community and others around LA pull together in a way I had not seen before. It was a glimmer of hope in the darkness, a silver lining in the tragedy. I wanted to find a way to capitalize on this momentum and continue the collaboration that I had seen, in a way that would continue to strengthen my community. The idea for InCommon was born, creating a simple way for local businesses to support each other, to collaborate and to build something amazing together.
I am so excited to be on this journey, building community for small businesses, supporting the back bone of not only our communities but our economy. As we see a move away from imports and foreign manufacturing, local businesses are going to play an even more fundamental role in the lives of every American. We are here to make sure that no small business gets left behind.
This is only the beginning of the journey to bring our local economies and communities into an age of prosperity and collaboration. Thanks for joining us.
